Ballweg & Lunsford Funeral Home is a family owned and operated funeral home. We have been in business since 1912 when Carl J. Ballweg founded our facility on South Salina Street in Syracuse, New York.
In 1964 William A. Lunsford, Jr. purchased the business on South Salina Street after working for Mr. Ballweg for fifteen years.
Mr. Lunsford's grandson, Kurt Lester, is the current president and owner, having built a fully modern facility on Field Lane in LaFayette, New York, a short drive from Syracuse.
Our LaFayette location offers a fully modern facility with beautiful interior and meticulously landscaped grounds.
Our Syracuse facility offers a state of the art casket and urn selection center with experienced licensed funeral directors to assist in your arrangements, funeral needs and after care services.
Both locations provide traditional services and cremations as well as alternative services and prices within the reach of all.
