My thoughts and prayers are with Dip's family in this time of great loss. I met Dip at Capp's pool hall and enjoyed his friendship. He was a true gentleman and he will be greatly missed by all that knew him.
He will be dearly missed for all of his smiles and clever thoughts. I had many a conversation with Dip concerning all kinds of subjects. Most memorable will be his help in getting and keeping the Turning Stone Professional pool tournament I loved his humor and generosity!! God bless you!!! You will be missed. Love and respect, Gerry Sharp

We met Dip at Valley Forge a few years ago and looked forward to seeing him there each year. This month was our first time at Turning Stone and we were so happy to see him there in his element the last day, dressed to the nines and holding court. What a striking figure he made that day, and what a charming manner he had each time we saw him! We are very sorry to hear of his passing and we will miss seeing him. Roberto, Mary & Jonathan
He always brought smiles and laughter. A man that healed souls, and will truely be missed by many.
My prayers are with you at this time. Always remember he loved you all...
The world was a much better place because "Dip" was in it. He always had a kind word and said something to make a person smile. I just saw him a few weeks ago and never expected it would be the last time I saw him. Years ago, after my father passed away I had found an old water stained picture of him when he was in the Navy. I mentioned it to "Dip" and he wanted to take a look at it. He took the picture, had it refurbished and hand made a frame for it. It is just beautiful. "Dip" had many talents but the greatest talent he had was bringing laughter and smiles to everyone he met. He will greatly missed but remembered fondly in all our hearts. Good bye "Dip" we love you!
I have spent a lot of time and money losing on the Joss Northeast Nine-ball Tour. Dip was at many of those tour stops and his happy nature and sense of humor always gave my spirit a boost. A naturally funny man with a heart of gold. I will miss him.
THis is from Chuck Wilbur and his family. (daughters Amy Meneilly, Melissa Hatem, and son Chuck Wilbur) Our Dad has shared alot of memories of Dip. Knowing him since the age of 14. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family.
