Ruth Maas Henderson, 75, of Otisco, New York died Thursday, February 4, 2010 at Crouse Hospital in Syracuse, New York.
Ruth was a 1951 graduate of Onondaga Valley Academy. She worked for NY Telephone, retiring in 1989 after 25 years of service. She was a communicant of St. Patrick's Church in Otisco where she was an active member of the St Patrick's Women's Group. She was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America and she enjoyed lunching with the 'Golden Girls', a group of women retired from NY Telephone.
Surviving are her husband of 57 years, Richard; three daughters, Michele (Gary) Bollinger of Tully, New York, Rhea(Larry) Chilcoat of Otisco, New York and Ricki (Will) Majkowycz of Phoenix, Arizona; a son, Shawn Henderson of Otisco, New York; nine grandchildren, Matt, Shanna, Katie, Bill, Brett, Tim, Ryan, Andrea and Alex; two sisters, Elinor "Pete" Antoni of Sandy, Utah and Rhea (Joseph) Mahar of Seminole, Florida; several nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
