Truly enjoyed spending time with Jim at many Cuppernull family functions over the years. This past September Jim took me and my Dad out for a morning of fishing on Oneida Lake - it was a spectacular day - for outdoor sportsmen and camaraderie. The perch arrived later at Borio's. A true gentleman, Jim will be missed. Our sincerest condolences to the family.

To the Turner Family, We know Jim is at peace with Jackie now, such is his faith in God. You're very blessed with a father and grandfather that gave example on living a Christian life. Helen knew him as a listening ear and sharer of recipes and I, for a short time anyway filled in as an adopted son in the Bridgeport area. Out of concern for his mental health, I tried to teach Jim how to tactfully say no to some the many demands made on him by his parish life at St. Francis, but to no avail, he always said yes and jumped into whatever it was, bingo, Holy Name, coffee hours, lecturing..whatever. We'll miss him now but know that won't last forever and find much comfort in this fact. God bless all of you.

Judy & family, We're so sorry for your loss. We always enjoyed seeing your Dad at sports and music events - even Christmas parties in the neighborhood. You will miss him horribly but find peace in the fact that he lived such a full life. Jane & John

"Junior", as I had the privilege of knowing him as, was one of the most friendly, gracious and loving people I have known in my life. He had a smile that would warm your heart and a sincerity that made you feel special. Having enjoyed his company on several occasions, I will never forget his many stories, many humorous, of his outdoor sportsman expeditions. Junior was a special man, father, and husband and I will surely miss him.

The memories I have of Uncle Jim are only a few, for only the few times I have spent with him. But, what I remember is that he was kind and loving, concerned for others. He will be missed.

Jim Turner was my Uncle. When I was 15 my family moved to Fulton NY. My family spent many Fri evenings at his home playing pool and having a good time.At 17 I left school and home to move to South Carolinia. It was a huge mistake.I came back to Fulton and went to see my Aunt and Uncle. I remember sitting at their kitchen table for over 2 hours while they gently and lovingly counceled me. I had known Jim and Jackie all my life but that was the day I realized how much they loved me.
