Biography

Linda L. Wiers, 60, of Otisco Road, Tully, New York, died suddenly Tuesday, February 23, 2010.

Surviving are her husband of 42 years, Robert E. Wiers; daughter; Terri Wiers of Tully, New York; sons, Scott (Jessica) Wiers and Timothy (Misty Hoen) Wiers all of Otisco Valley, New York; four grandchildren, Adam, Amber, Maddy and Alex Wiers; two sisters, Sharon Golthwait of North Syracuse, New York and Emma (Ken) Houk of Norwich, New York; two brothers, Bernie Riley of Auburn, New York and Harry Finkel of North Syracuse, New York; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by several brothers and sisters.

Linda was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

Linda's family will receive friends on Sunday, February 28, 2010 from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. at Ballweg & Lunsford funeral Home, 2584 Field Lane, LaFayette, New York.

As I sit here trying to have the right words to even describe how amazing of a person you were Linda and How thankful I am to of had the amazing memories I did with you..I remember always coming to your house when I was little with terri when she used to baby sit us or when we would just spend lots of time at terri's house I'll never forget all of my amazing memories with you.. and to the rest of the family my thoughts and prayers are always with you.. I will miss Aunt Linda more than you know, she was very dear and close to my heart. I remember when I was young ,her and uncle Bob would come visit and she would always go for a walk with me and we would talk and laugh. I always loved visiting with her and will miss her very much. Aunt Linda will be so missed. I have great memories from when I was kid and we would get together on weekends. I wish I could have made it home for the family, but know that my thoughts were and are with you. I just glad I was able to visit with her the last time I was home.
