Biography
Herbert Alfred Daniels III, 81, of LaFayette, New York, died Saturday, March 6, 2010 at Community General Hospital in Syracuse, New York. Born in Tully Valley, New York, he graduated Salutatorian from LaFayette High School. A carpenter all of his life, he was an honest, hardworking man. He was a wonderful father and grandfather.
Herb is survived by his sons, David (Virginia) Daniels of Chittenango, New York, Steven (Diane) Daniels of Elbridge, New York and Mark "Herb" (Linda) Daniels of LaFayette, New York; daughters, Cynthia (Joseph) Morabito of Weedsport, New York and Linda (Dennis) Billington of The Valley, Syracuse, New York; brother, Robert (Thola) Daniels of The Valley, Syracuse, New York; sisters, Ada (William) McLaughlin and Helen (John) Zukowski all of The Valley, Syracuse, New York; the mother of his children, Grace Durand of Weedsport, New York; 16 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren , several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers, Charles, Frank and Howard Daniels and sister, Marion Neuman.
Calling hours will be held Thursday, March 11, 2010, 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. at Ballweg & Lunsford Funeral Home, 2584 Field Lane, LaFayette, New York.
Graveside Services will be in the Spring at Tully Cemetery, State Street, Tully, New York.
