Obituary of Virginia June Jones

Virginia June Jones, 97, of Buckley Landing and formerly of Jamesville, passed away Wednesday, August 30, 2017. Virginia retired from General Electric in 1981 after more than 30 years of service. Virginia wintered in Cocoa Beach, FL, with her husband Gerald for many years. Surviving are 5 daughters, Bess (Ken) Ochsner of LaFayette, Sally (Les) Potter of Minoa, Donna (John) Keller of LaFayette, Joyce (Lyle) Hoagland of Cazenovia, Kelly Trease of Chittenango; 2 Sons, Ronald (Nancy) of Jamesville, Roderick (Lori) of Houston,TX' numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald, and 2 sons, Carlton and Gary. Services will be 12:00 Noon Tuesday, September 5, 2017, at Ballweg & Lunsford Funeral Home, 4612 S. Salina Street, Syracuse, NY 13205. Burial will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery, Jamesville. Calling hours are from 10-12 Tuesday preceding the service.
