I had worked with Gela over 10 years at the Sheraton Hotel. Gela's 1st. conversation with me was " You're wearing the ugliest uniform I've ever seen, and I'm not ever gonna wear a nasty polyester jacket to work". I immediately knew I was going to love working with Gela.
Everyone enjoyed working with Gela, her thoughtfulness with associates and clientele was stellar.
I will miss Gela's wry wit, her special kind of "OCD", and genuine heart......she always told me when I was getting "snappish".
Sending my/our deepest sympathy to the Hantke Family. I hope you find comfort in the knowledge that Gela was loved by many.

I met Gayla six years ago when I fell in love with her niece. She was quiet and reserved. One could just tell that she loved her family very much and that they were very important in her world. May you rest in piece and enjoy all the rewards of the afterlife.
