Obituary of Larry Lee Chilcoat

Larry Lee Chilcoat of Otisco, NY, and formally of Nocona, Texas, went to his heavenly home on July 31, 2017. He was born April 15, 1949, in Gainesville, Texas. Larry graduated from Nocona High School and, after graduation, joined the Air Force and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. Larry moved to NY in 1987. He was a self-employed carpenter until his retirement. Larry is survived by his wife, Rhea (Henderson) Chilcoat of Otisco, NY; daughter, Shanna (Philip) Quade of San Angelo, Texas; two sons, Brett (Erica) Chilcoat of Marcellus, NY, and Ryan (Krista) Chilcoat of South Onondaga, NY; and two granddaughters, Layla and Iommi Chilcoat. He is also surived by a brother, Rusty Chilcoat; sisters, Joann Booher, Tutts Harrison, Jean Shears, Janice Uselton and Patsy Davis, all of Texas; and several nieces and nephews. Larry was predeceased by his parents, Marion and Wanda Chilcoat of Nocona, Texas, and sister, Merry Alice of Montrose, Colorado. A celebration of Larry's life will take place on Saturday, August 19, 2017, from 2 to 6 p.m. at St. Patrick's Church Hall, Route 80, Otisco, NY.
