Obituary of Clarence Miner
Clarence Miner, 88, died Thursday, March 22, 2018 at the Syracuse VA Medical Center. He was born in Syracuse, the son of the late Clarence & Ruth Reichard Miner. He served in the US Marine Corps during the Korean War. Clarence retired after 38 years at Allied Chemical where he was an electrician and motor repairman. He was an avid yodeler and enjoyed fishing, camping and taking walks.
Clarence was predeceased by his wife, Beverly in 2015. He is survived by his son, David Miner of Plattsburgh; daughters, Ruth Mills of Syracuse and Jane (Robert) Northup of Syracuse; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Calling hours will be held Monday, March 26, 2018 from 4:00 to 6:30 p.m. at Ballweg & Lunsford Funeral Home, 4612 S. Salina Street, Syracuse with a funeral service to follow at 6:30 p.m. Private burial will be in White Chapel Memory Gardens.
