“If you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you…”
That’s how I thought of Pete. He was always calm, always centered, even when everybody else was frazzled and crazy. He was a role model for me when I was a young man. I still think of myself as an organizer and he had a lot to do with that. All blessings to Pat and the family.

To Pat Peterson & family:
So, so sorry to hear about the loss of Pete. Although I worked with you (Pat) at Nottingham, I also worked with Pete at EOC in the 80's. He was a kind man devoted to helping others improve the quality of their lives. We have truly lost a kind soul, and I am certain he will be dearly missed.
Sincere condolences to you and your family.

Dear Mrs. Peterson & family
I would like to express our deepest sympathy for the loss of your husband. We hope that your beautiful memories of him will bring you comfort and peace during this difficult time. We are thinking of you and praying for you every day.
My family felt blessed to have known you and your husband as good friends and role models. Both of your friendship over the years meant the world to my parents.
Today is both a sad day and a happy day. Sad because of the loss that has occurred but happy because Mr. Peterson has reached his final destination in life and is now united with our Lord and savior.
Sent with love and remembrance,
Joseph & Muveddet

My dearest Pat I am so sorry for your loss. During our CORE years you and Pete are one with your helping to press for civil rights in Syracuse.. equity in education, housing, health and more.
"NO we can not help" was never in your vocabulary.
Pete will be missed. Two warriors gone this month Pete and Charlie Goldsmith.

To the Peterson family. I’m so sorry to learn of the passing of your beloved Eddie. May the scriptural promise of our Lord Jesus about the resurrection comfort you during this time of great sorrow. When Jesus was on the earth he demonstrated his ability to resurrect those that had fallen asleep in death. He will do so again for he said that “they will hear his voice and come out...” - John 5:28,29. Do not despair, because we could look forward to seeing our loved ones again, “for it is impossible for God to lie” - Hebrews 6:18; Revelation 21:4
