Obituary of Edward Cooper Rutherford Jr.

Edward Cooper Rutherford Jr. passed away April 22, 2018, at Loretto.  He was born in Syracuse, NY, on July 24, 1935, to Edward Rutherford Sr. and Alma Finster Rutherford and attended schools in the Syracuse City District.  He was a member of Furman Methodist Church.

He was a longtime resident of Van Duyn Home.

Mr. Rutherford was predeceased by paternal grandparents, James and Laura Rutherford; maternal grandparents, Jasper and Lula Finster; his parents; sister, Anita Clark (Richard); and brothers, James (Marilyn) and Ernest (Phyllis).

He is survived by a brother, Paul (Carol), of Murrells Inlet, SC; brother-in-law, Richard J. Clark; sister-in-law, Marilyn Rutherford; and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.

A memorial service will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
