Obituary of William T. Pigula

William T. Pigula, 87, of Syracuse, passed away Wednesday, September 26, 2018. Born in Charleston, SC,

William devoted his life to his family. He was a long time resident of The Valley and a communicate of St. James

Church. Most of all, William will be remembered as a good friend, loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather.

William is survived by his daughter, Catherine Pigula-Tuff; grandchildren, Brian Tuff and Christopher Tuff; great-

grandson, Braylen Tuff, who was the “apple of his eye,”; son, Thomas Pigula; granddaughters , Amanda and

Danielle Pigula; along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to his sister, Mary Pigula and aunt,

Frances Matejek, William was predeceased by his brothers, James, Stanley and John Pigula.

Calling hours will be held Friday, September 28, 2018, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Ballweg & Lunsford Funeral Home, 4612

S. Salina Street, Syracuse, NY 13205.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, September 29,

2018 at 9:30 a.m. in Our Lady of Hope, 4845 S. Salina Street, Syracuse, NY 13205.  Interment will follow in

Onondaga County Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
