Obituary of John D. Bradley
John D. Bradley, 81, of LaFayette, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 26th at Crouse Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Syracuse to Dorothy and Phillip Bradley in 1937. John served 4 years in the US Navy. He was employed for 35 years with Byrne Dairy. John was a former member of St. Joseph’s Holy Name Society and the LaFayette Volunteer Fire Department where over the years he served as Lieutenant of station 1 and Captain of Fire Police.
John is survived by his wife of 58 years, Suzanne; his daughter Peg (Ken) Martin; his son Mike (Lisa) Bradley; two grandsons, David Martin, and Gary Bradley; his sister Jeanne Stogsdill, along with several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held from 4 to 7 PM Wednesday, January 2nd at Ballweg & Lunsford Funeral Home 2584 Field Lane, LaFayette, New York. A funeral service will be at 10 AM at Church of the Nativity at St. Joseph’s in LaFayette. Burial will follow in Lafayette Rural Cemetery.
