Obituary of James A. Froio
James A. Froio, 68, of Syracuse, New York, passed away Tuesday, January 29, 2019. He loved spending time gardening at his home. Jim previously worked as a Syracuse City Police Officer and previously owned Countryside Flowers in Marcellus, New York. He owned and operated Rooters Tavern in Syracuse.
Jim is survived by his daughter, Deana Froio, of Fayetteville, New York; son, James L. Froio, of Syracuse, New York; Sister, Nata Kittell; former wife and loving companion Sandra Froio :grandchildren, Justice and Jada Rayburn, Evan Froio; nephews, David, Timothy and Todd Kittel.
There will be no calling hours. A memorial service held at Ballweg & Lunsford Funeral Funeral Home, 4612 S. Salina Street, Syracuse, New York on Sunday February 3rd at 3 PM. Friends and family are welcome at Rooters Tavern immediately following services.
