Obituary of Patricia (Stone) Harris

Patricia Harris, 81, passed away peacefully Saturday after a long illness.  She was born in East Syracuse to George and Dorothy (Snyder) Stone. She grew up on Onondaga Hill, graduating from Valley Academy. She joined the United States Air Force immediately following high school and served as a volunteer for the Civil Defense Corps. She was a member of the Sentinel Heights Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary.  Pat retired from Royal Insurance Company. Pat especially enjoyed being with her friends, playing golf, cards, vacationing and simply socializing.

Patty was loved by everyone who was fortunate enough to know her. “Patty Harris is the sweetest woman that I have ever met”, is a phrase we all heard often.Patty’s true love was her family.

 She is survived by four daughters: Jennifer (Tom) Coman, Amy (Dave) Fisher, Lisa (Jeff) Craig, and Linda (Jeff) Ryan; seven grandchildren: Matthew (Corinne), Valerie, Morgan, Grace, Jackson, Allison and Aiden and a great grandson Logan. She is also survived by countless number of friends and family who will miss her dearly. Calling hours will be held at the Ballweg & Lunsford Funeral Home, 2584 Field Lane, Lafayette, NY, on Wednesday, February 20th from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. There will be no services.
