Josephine Margaret O’Donnell Neidhardt
November 18, 1919 – November 13, 2019
Jo, Mom or grandma Jo, 99, passed away on Wednesday, November 13th at Cortland Nursing Home with family lovingly at her side. She left the people she loved on Earth to be with the ones she loved in Heaven. Jo was born and raised in the Tipperary Hill section of Syracuse. She loved everything Irish. She married the love of her life, Joseph (Joe) in 1938 and they resided many years in the Lafayette area. She loved reading, especially American and Irish history. She also enjoyed sewing, cooking and caring for her family.
She is predeceased by Joseph and her sisters, Catherine, Helen and Ruth.
She is survived by her daughters, Pat (Dick) Morgan and Linda (Ron) Haskins; five grandchildren, Julie, Jody, Laura, Christine and Amy; eleven great grandchildren; and a sister, Margaret.
Calling hours will be Saturday, November 16th from 11AM -1PM at Ballweg & Lunsford Funeral Home, 2584 Field Lane, Lafayette, NY. Services will immediately follow at 1PM at the funeral home. Burial will be private at the Lafayette Rural Cemetery.
The entire family is thankful that Joe and Jo are united again.
