Obituary of Eddie Fields

Edward M. Fields, 76, passed at Van Duyn nursing home on November 21st in Syracuse, New York.  Eddie was a life-long resident of Syracuse who attended Vocational High School.  He worked for Bombard Buick and Romano Oldsmobile as a service technician.  In 1973 he established Fields' Towing and Service which he ran until his retirement.  This year he celebrated 28 years as a "Friend of Bill W." where he enjoyed sharing his experiences and steps in his newly chosen life.

Eddie is predeceased by his wife, Deborah; his son, Edward W. Fields.

Survived by his daughter, Rebecca (John) Walsh; brothers, David (Mary) and Richard (Susan) Fields; grandchildren, Amanda and Robert; great grandchildren, Caleb and Emma; and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, December 15th at 2:00 pm at St. David's Episcopal Church in Dewitt.
