Obituary of Phyllis Chopay

Phyllis W. Chopay, of Jamesville, NY passed away at St. Joseph’s Hospital from complications due to coronavirus. She was 81.

She retired from Lafayette Central Schools as a cook. She spent her retirement as a florist at the Goose and Gander. She enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking, and gardening. What she loved most was spending time with her six granddaughters and two great-granddaughters.

She is predeceased by her husband, Edward in 2016, and her cousin Joan in 2007. She is survived by: her sister Beverly; her children Andrew (Melanie), Rebecca, Russell, and Terry (Jon); granddaughters: Jessica, Danielle (Michael), Tiffany, Megan, Brittany, Emily; and great-granddaughters: Mackenzie and Emerson.
