Obituary of Suzanne L. Lee

Suzanne L. (Smith) Lee, 70, of Syracuse, passed away on November 25, in the comfort of her own home; after a short battle with cancer. She was born in Syracuse in December 1949 to the late Catherine and Lloyd Smith. During the late 60s, Suzanne was employed at Ross Bakery. She was a loving and caring mother, grandmother, and sister. She enjoyed watching Jeopardy and spending time with her grandson, Yasmani Ramirez “Spanky”. She will be deeply missed.

She is predeceased by: ex-husband Gerald Lee, Sr.; and 12 siblings: Lloyd, Donald, Frederick, Francis, Collin, Theodore, Maureen, Stormes, Shirley, Teddy, James, and Thomas. She is survived by: sisters, Cathy Cayen, Chickie Procopio; one brother, George Smith; six children: Shirley Lee-Estevez, Marueen Eaton, Roseanna Collura, Collin, Gerald, and Francis Lee- all of Syracuse; several nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. The family would like to extend a special thank you to her son in law, Jairo Estevez Ramirez.

An hour of visitation will be held on Thursday, December 10, 2020 at 12 Noon, at Ballweg and Lunsford Funeral Home, 4612 S. Salina Street, Syracuse. Burial will follow at Onondaga Valley Cemetery.
