Leigh Cutter Safford died on Saturday, December 5th at the Loretto Health & Rehabilitation Center in Syracuse, New York. Leigh was born June 20th, 1935 in Boston Massachusetts- the son of Ruth Flexney and Truman Henry Safford. Leigh was a voracious reader and the kindest of souls. A resident of Syracuse for many years, Leigh was a faithful member of the University Methodist Church. He was also a member of the New Environmental Association in which he had many friends.
Leigh is survived by his sister, Sally Ann Sappey, his niece, Leigh Ann Hallberg and nephews, Robert Kamph, Andrew David and Jonathan Truman Sappey as well as many great nieces and nephews.
Leigh's cremains will be interred next to his mother and father in Watertown, Massachusetts.
