Obituary of Shirley R. Jones

Shirley R. Jones, 73, of Marietta, passed away on Thursday, April 29, 2021 surrounded by her family.  She was known by many for her willingness to help and care for others.  She devoted over 30 years of her life to helping those in need through Hutchings Psychiatric Center. 
She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Vern M. Jones Sr.; her children, Mitch (Margie) Jones, JD (Nina Taylor) Jones and Dominique (Justyn Hardwick) Jones; grandchildren, Trey, Charlotte, Damon, Aryanna, Yvette and Justyn.
Calling Hours will be Friday, May 7th from 1 - 4PM at Ballweg & Lunsford Funeral Home, Syracuse, NY.  Services will follow at 4PM.
Contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to the Navarino Vol. Fire Department.
