My heart was just broken last Sunday, when I learned that the second of my big brothers died. Jimmy was special & my favorite brother, although I adored them both.. My memories of Jimmy are of his love & devotion to horses and cars. He was always in a bit of trouble coming home from the barn & not smelling the way Mom thought he ought to; not to mention the condition of his clothes. He spent untold hours fixing his first car. .All the Chaffee Ave kids thought Jimmy was really special too, having that great looking car parked under the tree. Jimmy looked out for his three sisters, being so sweet & kind to us. This sweetness and caring for us lasted all of Jim's life. My brother never failed to help me when I needed help, which often I did. When Jim married, Jean Matterson she was just as sweet and caring, not only to her children, but to the whole Terrell clan. Now, Jean & Jim were always there for fun, for family get togethers, for bad times& good times. My time with Jim & Jean, this past winter on Sunday nights spent, eating Pizza & talking about everything under the sun, mostly politics, will be so missed, but all so cherished. I will, as I said when my sister Linda & brother Bill & Dad, died, "miss them always. I especially will miss the most wonderful brother "always"
