June Amo

Obituary of June M. Amo

June M. Amo passed away September 6, 2021 at home (just as she wished) with family by her side.  June was the beloved wife of "Jack" Stanley Amo for 57 years before his passing in 2002. June was also a devoted mother to many, loving grandmother to many more and would never turn anyone away who was in need or hungry. June's life always centered around her family and the children that came into her life and became her “family”.  She loved all children dearly and they were her center of attention throughout her life. She always looked forward to the holiday meal celebrations that she would prepare every year she was able. She would always set the table for 2 or 32 but NEVER 13.

June was predeceased by her sisters, Claire (Ernie) Amo (2001), Mary (Cody) Totman (2017) and her brothers Charles (Margaret) Lesser (2019) and Almond Lewis Lesser (1922) who passed shortly after birth. Her daughter Sandra Holtzmaster (2016), son Greg Taylor (2004), grandsons Jason Taylor (1989) and Phoenix (2016).

June is survived by her children Brenda (Dave) Moltion,  Lorelei Taylor, Frankie (Ruth) Quaife and Jose (Cynthia) Colondres. Her grandchildren Vickie (Sean) DesRosiers, Cindi (Dan) Comins, Tanya (Chris) Brennen, Terrie (Shawn Elliott) Moltion, Greg Taylor Jr. Heather (Alan) Lancette, Tonya Taylor, Nathan Taylor, Aaron Taylor, Johnathan Jessica, Tabatha, Brandon and Justin.  Her great grandchildren, John, Ashley, Evan, David, Chris, Heaven, Jeffrey, Jada, Bailey, Riley, James, Addison, Allison, Peyton, Dylan, Carizma, Tontionna and Adrionna. Her great-great grandchildren Brooke, Evelyn, Theodore and Eloise. June is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins along with their families which she took great pride in being a part of those extended families throughout her long life.

The family would like to also extend their sincere gratitude to Terrie Moltion, for the daily love and care for "Gram" that was needed to keep “Gram” happy and in her home over the past several years.
