Obituary of Marilyn A. George

Marilyn A. George, 78, of Syracuse, NY, member of the Oneida Indian Nation passed away Sunday, Feb. 6, 2022. Marilyn enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and visiting the Turning Stone Casino.

 Marilyn was predeceased by her parents Randolph and Ruby (Webster) George, brothers Michael & Edmond, sister  Donna Rae.

She is survived by her son, Todd (Kelley) Shields; daughter, Melissa Ferlenda (John...D). 5 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 5 brothers,  William, Lowell, Carl and Ronald ( sandy) and Martin (Patty) George, 2 sisters,  Adrienne George and Diane ( George) Barnes ,  and several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held from 11AM to 1PM Monday, Feb. 14th at Ballweg & Lunsford Funeral Home, 4612 S. Salina St. Syracuse.

Funeral service will follow at 1PM at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Onondaga Valley Cemetery.
