To Melvin's wife and children,
I am very sorry for your loss of Melvin. I can still recall interviewing him back in 1993 when the JOBSplus! program was being created between OCC and DSS. The Search Committee was looking for individuals that believed that employment was a pathway to independence from welfare. Melvin's role as an instructor and job coach impacted many hundreds- maybe even thousands of jobseekers in our community. May he rest in peace.
