Obituary of Edward J. Johnson

Edward J. Johnson, 73, of Liverpool passed away on Thursday, February 24th at Upstate Medical Center.

Born in Syracuse to Andrew Leo Johnson and Grace Ann (McComber) Johnson on August 3, 1948.

Ed is survived by his sisters, Ruth Johnson, Joyce Hinkle, and Penny (John) Keeler, all of Jamesville; brothers, Lee Johnson and Howard Johnson, both of Florida; brother in law, Thomas Grover Sr.; sister in law, Lois Johnson, both of Jamesville; son, Cody Currie of Liverpool;  daughter, Kaitlyn Currie of Syracuse; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He is predeceased by his parents; brother, William Johnson Sr.; sister, Rita Grover; and brother in law, Robert Hinkle Sr.

Calling hours will be held at Our Lady of Hope Church, 4845 S. Salina Street, Syracuse on Friday, March 4th from 10 am -11 am.  A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 am followed by interment at St. Mary’s Cemetery, DeWitt.
