To the Family and Friends of Preston DeLaski, USMC,
I knew Pres for a short time in the mid '50s when we both worked at the Loblaws market in Mattydale.
He was a fun guy who amused us with his Brooklyn accent and stories about his time in the Corps.
He claimed that he saved a set of Marine Corps "Dress Blues" for his funeral.
I didn't save mine, but I would never be able to fit. I bet he couldn't either.
I didn't know about his police career (I bet he was a good cop) and he would have been surprised about my career in Corrections.
He served our Nation with Honor. May he now Rest in Peace.
