Obituary of Cheryl R. Guilfoyle

Cheryl "Bedite" R. Guilfoyle, 66, of Syracuse, passed away unexpectedly at home on Friday, February 2, 2018. Born in Syracuse, she was one of twelve children born to the late Calvin and Ruth Sampson Gibson. Cheryl had many passions, but none more important than her family. She loved to watch her great-granddaughter, go to lunch with her granddaughter, Jennifer, on Fridays, and travel to Turning Stone with her sisters. Cheryl was also an amazing cook, loved Elvis, and enjoyed going antiquing with her husband. She was very patriotic and was always there to help people. She is survived by her loving husband, Philip J. Guilfoyle; daughter, Kathy; grandchildren, Jennifer (Charles Garbutt) Andrews, Cameron (Dana Hill) Tillich, and Miranda Tillich; great-granddaughter, Amelia Tillich; and many brothers and sisters. She was predeceased by a daughter, Sharon Guilfoyle, in 2006. Calling hours will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, February 6, 2018, at Ballweg & Lunsford Funeral Home, 4612 S.
