Obituary of Lorraine Ann Stahlberg

Lorraine "Rainy" Ann Stahlberg, age 59 of Syracuse, passed away on Sunday, January 28, 2018. She was born to the late Henry and Florence Hayes on November 5, 1958. Lorraine is survived by her husband and life partner, Theodore Cardinell, her 3 sisters, Laura Hayes, Louise Miller, and Lois Bonnell, 1 sister-in-law Deborah Hayes, countless nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and she is proceeded by her brother John Hayes. Lorraine loved her music and her many summer camping trips at Fairhaven. She was known to many as "Aunt Rainy". Although she had no children of her own, she was a mother to all. She was the glue that kept this family together with her yearly family gatherings at the lake for Memorial day, cookouts on the Fourth of July, her huge dinners for Thanksgiving and Christmas, and all her famous traditions. She was caring, kind, and passionate to those who needed her and always there with a listening ear. Just like a mother to many, she was there to guide us and always tried to provide what we needed. She was a special women, an angel that received her wings when she passed, the rest of us will continue to mourn her memory and she will forever be in our hearts and will be truly missed.
