Obituary of Theodora A. Sinner

Theodora A. Sinner, age 81, of Syracuse, New York died Monday, November 11, 2002 at Crouse Hospital, Syracuse, New York. Theordora was born December 23, 1920 in Syracuse, New York, the daughter of Angelo N. and Mary (Bush) Delaport. She was the wife of Emiel R. Sinner who died in 1988. She was a 1939 graduate of Central High School, a graduate of Central City Business Institute and a 1992 graduate of Syracuse University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology graduating cum laude. She was an office manager at Empire Cigarette Inc., a company she and her husband owned. She was a medical transcriptionist for Dr. Grover in Syracuse and a civilian employee for the Army. She was a communicant of St. James Church, a member of Alpha Sigma Lambda?s Syracuse Honors Chapter and the Korean Veteran?s Association Auxiliary. She was an avid gardner, a classic car enthusiast and she loved animals. In 1986, she attended a Syracuse University summer session in Paris, France. Mrs. Sinner is survived by her companion of 12 years, Richard Braden of Syracuse, New York; one daughter, Kathryn A. Swan of Charlotte, North Carolina; one son, James E. Sinner of Medina, New York; one sister: Jane Glavin of Pointe Vedra Beach, Florida; one grandson, James Sinner of Medina, New York; one granddaughter, Ashley Sinner of Medina, New York; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral: Friday, November 15, 2002, 10:30 a.m. at Ballweg & Lunford Funeral Home, Inc., and 11:00 a.m. in St. James Church, 4845 S. Salina St., Syracuse, New York where a Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated by Father Michael Minehan. Burial: Oakwood Cemetery, 940 Comstock Avenue, Syracuse, New York.
