Obituary of Leona M. Wilson

Leona M. Wilson, age 73, of Bridgeport, New York died Friday, October 4, 2002 at Community General Hospital, Onondaga Hill, New York. Leona was born August 15, 1929 in Syracuse, New York, the daughter of Edward and Rose Peck. She was a graduate of Most Holy Rosary School and a communicant of St. Francis of Assisi Church. She retired as a personal care aide from Loretto, Syracuse, New York. Mrs. Wilson is survived by her husband of 46 years, William E. Wilson; one daughter: Denise M. Wilson of Syracuse, New York; one son, David W. Wilson of Syracuse, New York; one brother, Howard Peck of Camillus, New York; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Funeral: Tuesday, October 8, 2002, 10:30 a.m. at Ballweg & Lunsford Funeral Home, Inc., and 11:00 a.m. in St. James Church, 4845 S. Salina St., Syracuse, New York where a Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated by Father Daniel J. O'Hara.
