Obituary of Lewis K. Rienhardt

Lewis Knapp Rienhardt, age 88, formerly of W. Seneca Turnpike, Onondaga Hill, New York died Tuesday, September 10, 2002 at Seneca Hill Manor, Oswego, New York. Lewis was born July 31, 1914 in Syracuse, New York, the son of John E. and Lila (Knapp) Rienhardt. He attended Onondaga Valley Academy. He worked on the family farm, Valley Dairy. He later worked as a clam operator for New York Central Railroad and as a security officer for Community General Hospital. He was a former member of Konosioni Masonic Lodge 950, a member of the Dual Club and a member of the former Valley Sports Center Bowling League. He was preceded in death by his wife Lois Sarah (Morey) Rienhardt, June 23, 2000. Mr. Rienhardt is survived by one daughter, Sara L. Guenthner of Cato, New York; one son, John F. Rienhardt of Hastings, New York; nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Funeral: Friday, September 13, 2002, 10:00 a.m. at Ballweg & Lunsford Funeral Home, Inc., with Rev. Thomas Schafer officiating. Burial: Onondaga Valley Cemetery, 2500 Valley Drive, Syracuse, New York.
