Obituary of Derek M. Tanner

Derek Michael Tanner, age 13, of Manlius, New York died Tuesday, July 23, 2002. Derek was born January 2, 1989 in Syracuse, New York. He attended Jamesville-Dewitt Middle School where he would have entered the 7th grade this fall and he was looking forward to joining the school's lacross team. He is survived by his mother, Darla S. Becker of Manlius, New York; his father, Michael G. Tanner of West Monroe, New York; two sisters: Penny Tanner and Mickey Barber both of Parish, New York; one brother: Gary Tanner of West Monroe, New York; maternal great grandparents, Burton & Vivian Van Luven of Canastota, New York; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
