Obituary of Raymond A. Lemke

Raymond A. Lemke, age 88, of Jamesville, New York, died Saturday, July 13, 2002 at Crouse Hospital, Syracuse. Mr. Lemke was born April 7, 1914, the son of William and Edna (Hopkins) Lemke. He was employed by Crucible Steel for 38 years retiring in 1976. He was a communicant of St. Mary?s Church in Jamesville and a former member of Southwood Volunteer Fire Department. He bowled in various leagues at Phol?s Bowling Center. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He is survived by two daughters, Sheila A. House from Williamstown, New York and Linda A. Schad from Jamesville, New York; one brother, William Lemke from Southwood, New York; his companion, Millie Fort from Jamesville, New York; five grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren. Funeral: Wednesday, July 17, 2002, 11:30 a.m. at Ballweg & Lunsford Funeral Home, Inc., with Father Daniel J. O'Hara officiating. Burial: St. Mary's Cemetery, Dewitt, New York.
