Obituary of L. Winifred Winnie" Robb

Lois Winifred "Winnie" Robb, age 84, of 24 Nelson Street, Cazenovia, New York died Monday, June 10, 2002 at Francis House, Syracuse, New York. "Winnie" was born January 25, 1918 in Susquehanna, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Mason W. and Cora A. (Bagnall) Kotz. She was a 1938 graduate of Binghamton City Hospital School of Nursing. She retired in 1978 after 40 years as a Registered Nurse at Upstate Medical Center where she was head nurse for 15 years. She was on the Board at Westminster Manor, Auburn, New York for six years. She was a founding member and past president of Valley VIP?s. She was a former member of Valley Presbyterian Church where she was a Deacon and helped to settle Vietnamese Boat People. She was currently a member and Deacon of Cazenovia Presbyterian Church. She actively supported the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts. Her husband, Lawrence O Robb died in 1975. A daughter, Karen J. Bisnett, died in 1983. She is survived by two daughters: Carolyn J. Robb from Syracuse, New York, Christine R. Bugnacki from Carrolton, Texas; two sons: Phillip Robb from Cazenovia, New York, Michael F. Robb from Pearland, Texas; one sister: Audrey Kerr from New Milford, Pennsylvania; four brothers: Frederick M. Kotz from Susquehanna, Pennsylvania, Vincent L. Griffis from Honesdale, Pennsylvania, Jerrold A. Griffis from Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania, Ronald E. Griffis from Susquehanna, Pennsylvania; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Services: Thursday, June 13, 2002, 10:00 a.m. at Ballweg & Lunsford Funeral Home, Inc. Calling Hours: Wednesday, June 12, 2002, 4:00 - 7:00 p.m., at the funeral home, 4612 S.
