Obituary of Donald A. Senke

Donald A. Senke, age 63, of Westvale, New York, died Tuesday, May 14, 2002 at Van Duyn Home & Hospital, Onondaga Hill, New York. Mr. Senke was born October 19, 1938 in Syracuse, New York, the son of Harold and Marion (Smith) Senke. He served in the Army during the Korean War. He was employed as a machinist at Carrier Corporation for 40 years, retiring in 1999. He was a member of Carrier Retirees Club and Sheet Metals Workers Local 527. He is survived by his wife, the former Jane E. Morrisroe; two daughters: Michelle Culkin from Mattydale, New York and Mary Teresa Martinez from Lakeland, New York; one son: Mark Senke from Otisco Lake, New York; two sisters: Edna Fairbanks from Southwood, New York and Betty Palladino from Jamesville, New York; four brothers: John Senke from Solvay, New York, Charles Senke from Liverpool, New York, James Senke from Lakeport, New York and Albert Senke from Syracuse, New York; six grandchildren. Funeral: Thursday, May 16, 2002, 8:15 a.m. at Ballweg & Lunsford Funeral Home, Inc. and 9:00 a.m. in Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, 259 E. Onondaga Street, Syracuse where a Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated by Father Joseph Champlin. Burial: Woodlawn Cemetery, Syracuse.
