Obituary of Rita Owens

Rita Owens, age 70, of 2833 Sherman Road, Marietta, New York died Thursday, April 25, 2002 at University Hospital, Syracuse, New York. Mrs. Owens was born December 22, 1931 in Syracuse, the daughter of Albert and Alice (Trepka) Mushow. She was a bookkeeper for Navarino Farms, a communicant of St. Patrick?s Church, Otisco, New York and a member of Telephone Pioners of America. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Harry Owens; four sisters: Frances McDaniels from Baldwinsville, New York, Eleanor Penwarden from Tully, New York, Johanna Loughnot from Cicero, New York and Mary Artini from Solvay, New York; two brothers: Thomas Mushow from Syracuse, New York, George Mushow from Jamesville, New York. Her sister, Catherine Korycinski, passed away May 31, 2000. Funeral: Saturday, April 27, 2002, 9:30 a.m. at Ballweg & Lunford Funeral Home, Inc., and 10:00 a.m. in St. Patrick's Church, Route 80, Otisco, with Father Louis Aiello officiating.
