Obituary of Ruby Nell Parks

Ruby N. Parks, age 81, formerly of 5053 Paddlewheel Lane, Camillus, New York died Thursday, March 28, 2002 at Van Duyn Home & Hospital, Onondaga Hill, New York. Mrs. Parks was born January 22, 1921 in Winters, Texas, the daughter of Homer and Ruth (Mitchell) Mosley. She was married to Fredrich Roger Parks who passed away in 1977. She graduated from Hardin-Simmons College in Texas and she retired in 1977 as a high school teacher at Floral Park Memorial High School, Long Island, New York. She was a member of the New York State Teachers Association and was affiliated with First Baptist Church of Syracuse. She is survived by one daughter: Karen Richardson from Camillus, New York; One son: Rick Parks from Chandler, Texas; one brother: Lee Mosley from Newport Beach, California; five grandchildren. Funeral: Saturday, March 30, 2002, 12:00 noon at Ballweg & Lunsford Funeral Home, Inc., 4612 S. Salina Street, Syracuse, New York with Pastor Scott Kavanagh officiating.
