Obituary of Richard Glenn Martin

Richard Glenn Martin, age 60, of Syracuse, New York died Wednesday, March 20, 2002 at home. Mr. Martin was born November 19, 1941 in Syracuse, New York, the son of Raymond P. and Shirley E. (Cole) Martin. He was a graduate of Central Technical High School and Hartwick College in Oneonta. He served in the Air Force for four years during the Vietnam War era. He was an accountant for Ward's Bakery and a volunteer at Van Duyn Home & Hospital. He was a member of the former St. Paul's Lutheran Church and an active member of Atonement Lutheran Church and its Men of Atonement Club. He is survived by his brother and sister in law, Robert E. and Aiko Martin from Syracuse, New York; one uncle, Kenneth LeMar from Syracuse, New York; one nephew, David A. Martin from Syracuse, New York; two nieces, Lisa Tousley-Lang from Jamesville, New York and Melissa Martin from Syracuse, New York; two great nephews and one great niece. Funeral: Saturday, March 23, 2002, 11:00 a.m. in Atonement Lutheran Church, 116 W. Glen Avenue, Syracuse with Pastor Peter Suarez officiating. Burial: Greenlawn Cemetery, Warners, New York.
