Obituary of Gilbert P. Madigan

Gilbert P. Madigan, age 79, of 325 W. Seneca Turnpike, Syracuse, New York, died Sunday, March 17, 2002 at Community General Hospital, Onondaga Hill, New York. Mr. Madigan was born April 15, 1922 in Onondaga, New York, the son of Samuel and Carrie Eva (Kenyin) Madigan. He was the husband of the late Winifred A. Morton who passed away in 1991. He served in the Army Air Force during World War II. He retired from Edgecomb Metals. He was a member of Onondaga Valley Presbyterian Church and American Legion Post #1468. He is survived by his companion, Jean Hoxie from Elmira, New York; two daughters: Carrie A. Madigan and Mary M. Homer both from Syracuse, New York; two sons: Gilbert S. Madigan and George E. Madigan both from Syracuse, New York; three grandaughters, one grandson and several nieces & nephews. Memorial Service: Saturday, March 23, 2002, 2:00 p.m. in Onondaga Valley Presbyterian Church, 275 W. Seneca Turnpike, Syracuse with Rev. Beth Dubois officiating.
