Obituary of Leonard Paul Johnny" Babcock

Leonard Paul "Johnny" Babcock, age 56, of Camillus, New York died Saturday, February 9, 2002 at Community General Hospital, Onondaga Hill, New York. Mr. Babcock was born April 1, 1945 in Syracuse, New York, the son of Charles Folts and Laura Babcock. He served in the Navy during the Vietnam War. He retired in 1987 after 15 years as a welder for Carrier Corporation. He was a Orchard Hill Oneida member, member of Turtle Clan, and a member of the Sheet Metal Workers Union. He is survived by his wife of 33 years the former Lorraine Masullo; one daughter: Mindy Babcock from Syracuse, New York; one son: Jonathan Babcock from Camillus, New York; two sisters: Elizabeth Babcock from Oneida, New York and Linda Babcock from Marble Hill, New York; several nieces & nephews. Funeral: Wednesday, February 13, 2002, 2:00 p.m. at Ballweg & Lunsford Funeral Home, Inc., 4612 S. Salina Street, Syracuse. Burial: Onondaga Valley Cemetery, Syracuse. Calling Hours: Tuesday, February 12, 2002, 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home.
