Obituary of R. Neal Williams

R. Neal Williams, age 86, died Saturday, February 9, 2002 at Loretto in Syracuse, New York Mr. Williams was born August 21, 1915 in Johnstown, New York, the son of Roger and Nelle (Hower) Williams. He was the husband of Virginia Kurtz Williams who passed away June 11, 1996. He retired in 1977 after 15 years as Superintendent of the Slippery Rock School District, Pennsylvania. He was a communicant of St. Paul?s United Methodist Church, a member of the American Association of School Administrators and a member of the Lions Club. He is survived by one daughter: Nancy Williams from Braddock Heights, Maryland; three sons: David Williams from LaFayette, New York, Roger Williams from Levittown, Pennsylvania and Stewart Williams from Montgomery Village, Maryland; six grandchildren. Funeral: Tuesday, February 12, 2002, 11:00 a.m. at Ballweg & Lunsford Funeral Home, Inc., 2584 Field Lane, LaFayette, New York with Rev. Harold Bruen officiating. Calling Hours: Tuesday, February 12, 2002 from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial: Wednesday, February 13, 2002, 12:00 noon in Huntingdon Memorial Gardens, Pennsylvania.
