Obituary of Lewis C. Auburn

Lewis C. Auburn, age 86, of Syracuse, New York died Tuesday, February 5, 2002 at Van Duyn Home & Hospital, Onondaga Hill, New York. Mr. Auburn was born June 17, 1915 in Fairport, New York, the son of Arthur and Clara (Sinamus) Auburn. He lived in Rochester, New York most of his life. He was an Army Medical Corps veteran of World War ll and was a survivor of the attack at Pearl Harbor. He was a graduate of New York State College of Optometry and was an optician for Walders Opticians in Rochester. He was a member of James Lundgren VFW Post in Rochester. His wife, Margaret passed away in 1986. He is survived by three daughters: Carolyn Stultz from LaFayette, New York, Katherine Gartley from Albuquerque, New Mexico and Nancy McAuley from Rochester, New York; one sister: Janice Cormier from Tucson, Arizona and 6 grandchildren.
