Obituary of Glen Ellis

Glen Ellis, age 69, of Baldwinsville, New York died Friday, February 1, 2002 at home. Mr. Ellis was born May 18, 1932 in Syracuse, New York, the son of Franklin and Edith (Stonecipher) Ellis. He graduated from Onondaga Valley Academy. He served in the Army during the Korean war. He was a carpenter for various contractors in Michigan and in the Syracuse Area. He is survived by two daughters: Dian Crosby from Arizona and Dana Dyer from Minnesota; two sons: David Ellis from Washington State and Daniel Ellis from Idaho; one sister: Patricia Pratt from Wappinger Falls, New York; four brothers: Amon Ellis from Kirkville, New York, Hoyt Ellis from Syracuse, New York, Jack Ellis from Syracuse, New York and Boyd Ellis from Bridgeport, New York; 12 Grandchildren. Funeral: Tuesday, February 5, 2002, 11:00 a.m. at Ballweg & Lunsford Funeral Home, Inc., 4612 S. Salina Street, Syracuse with Pastor Scott Kavanagh officiating. Burial: Greenlawn Memorial Park, Warners, New York Calling Hours: Monday, February 4, 2002, 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
