Ruth Irene Shetler, age 77, of 1893 Tully Farms Road, Tully, New York died Monday, January 14, 2002 at home. Mrs. Shetler was born December 7, 1924 in LaFayette, New York, the daughter of Frederick and Regula (Schmidt) Shute. She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Warren L. Shetler; two daughters: Cheryl Paccia from Marietta, New York and Jane Diehl from Verona Beach, New York; two sons: Paul and Douglas Shetler both from Tully, New York; three sisters: Ann Fleming from LaFayette, New York , Bertha Smirco from Apulia, New York and Eva Palmer from LaFayette, New York; two brothers: Walter Shute from LaFayette, New York and Howard Shute from Jamesville, New York; 10 grandchildren and several nieces & nephews. Funeral: Friday, January 18, 2002, 11:00 a.m. in The Columbian Presbyterian Church, LaFayette, New York with Rev. John Kloepfer officiating. Burial: Cardiff Cemetery, Cardiff, New York.
