Obituary of Regina K. Corbett

Regina K. Corbett, age 77, of Syracuse, New York died Tuesday, December 25, 2001 at Francis House, Syracuse. Mrs. Corbett was born May 7, 1924 in Syracuse, New York the daughter of Theodore and Freida (Englebrecht) Same. She had also lived in North Fort Myers, Florida. She was a Coast Guard veteran of World War II. She retired in 1988 from the Syracuse City School District. She bowled with Valley Sports Center Bowling League and was a communicant of St. James Church. She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Robert Corbett; three daughters: Teresa Owen from Onondaga Hill, New York, Carol Sutherland from Trumansburg, New York and Mary Michaels from Onondaga Hill, New York; three sons: Michael L. Corbett from Syracuse, New York, Thomas R. Corbett from Syracuse, New York and James P. Corbett from Syracuse, New York; one brother: Vincent Same from Cape Coral, Florida, and 8 grandchildren. Funeral: Saturday, December 29, 2001, 9:30 a.m. at Ballweg & Lunsford Funeral Home, 4612 South Salina Street, Syracuse and 10:00 a.m. in St. James Church, 4845 S. Salina St., Syracuse where a Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated by Father Daniel J. O'Hara. Burial: Onondaga County Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Syracuse.
