She began her career as a registered nurse in 97 where she found her second true calling to care for sick and elderly with a specialty in home health care, a patient advocate with a compassionate attitude that would get what was needed when someone was in need. A born leader who could brighten any room, best known for random acts of kindness, realigning compassionate principals in the presence of uncaring demeanor and gentle words of encouragement to empower the good in all people. When Janet was not in service to others her joys were spending time with her sons, extended family and friends, she was a motorcycle momma who once rode solo through the Smokey Mountains of North Carolina to New York. She engaged in humanitarian efforts to feed and clothe those in need through multiple giving organizations. She was a sister to many growing her relations like family with her first best friend Val Toledo beginning in kindergarten, guiding her unlimited light to true friendship with all those she touched; Susie, Doris, Tina and the many other connections she made through enjoyed sporting events, nursing relations, friends of Bill, herbal school class mates, prayer groups and the Sundance Community she felt at peace giving thanks. This as a Celebration of Life for the most giving mother, sister, friend, and healer who spread joy, laughter, and philosophy stated to always honorably question authority.
