Lou-Ann Estey

Obituary of Lou-Ann A. Estey

Lou-Ann Estey, 68, of LaFayette, passed away at home on Tuesday with her family by her side after a long struggle with cancer. Lou-Ann became a homemaker who loved crafts, gardening and quilting. Her quilts were truly extraordinary and could take months to create. Her greatest joy, however, was spending time with her grandchildren; three of which she was fortunate enough to provide daycare until they reached school age.

She was predeceased by her father Bernard, her brother Bernie and sister Earline Wood.

Lou-Ann is survived by her husband, Steve, daughter, Rachael (Jeff) Shute, son, Clayton (Jessica), mother, Lillian DeVine, and grandchildren, Emma, Ava and Madison Shute and Abel and Abigail Estey, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Per Lou-Ann's wishes, services will be private.

The family would like to thank Hospice of CNY and to give our deepest gratitude to Lou-Ann's long time friend Amy Richards who was there caring for her until the end.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Golisano Childrens Hospital.
