Obituary of Dr. Charles H. Palin

Dr. Charles H. Palin, 80, of LaFayette and formerly of Delhi, NY, passed away on Tuesday, November 1, 2022.  Chuck grew up in Jamesville, NY.  He graduated from Cornell University as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine.  He joined his father in law's practice in 1966, where he practiced for over 30 years along with his wife and business partner, Lois Dickson Palin. They were married for 58 years and had three children. He enjoyed restoring antique cars and completed over 20 in his lifetime. He also became a master carpenter and crafted 7 custom kitchens along with two homes.  He also enjoyed extensive travels with his wife and children.

He is predeceased by his wife, Lois Dickson Palin on October 2, 2021.

Chuck is survived by his three children, Jeff (Beth) Palin; Dede (John) Torrens and Steve (MaryE) Palin; grandchildren, Zach, Josh, Kyle (Alexa), Carlena, Mack, Nick and Abby; two sisters, Betsy (Peter) Hansen and Linda (Bill) McCarthy; sister in law, Margie (David) Jones; brother in law, Bob (Joan) Dickson; and many nieces and nephews.

There will be a Celebration of Life at his home on Saturday, November 5, 2022 from 12noon to 4PM.
